The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for the following North Carolina counties: Madison, Yancey, Jackson, Transylvania, Buncombe, Rutherford, Haywood, Mitchell, McDowell, Polk, Burke, Henderson. Effective until August 17, 04:40 PM EDT.
