Sgt. William McNulty, co-founder of the humanitarian organization Operation White Stork, based in Kyiv, Ukraine and Poland, describes the way his organization organized over 20,000 evacuations from Ukraine into neighboring countries and is now helping with repatriation, as people return home. White Stork also provides first aid kits for Ukrainian soldiers on the front.

McNulty shares his understanding of the state of this invasion, from the point of view of a former military person and intelligence specialist.

A 2013 Presidential Leadership Scholar, McNulty earned a bachelors in economics and communications from the University of Kansas, and in 2007, an MA in government from Johns Hopkins University. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He served as both a Tow Gunner and an Intelligence Specialist with the Marine Corps.
