Anton Ptushkin is a renowned award-winning Ukrainian Vlogger, Youtube producer, and TV documentarian. Formerly, he hosted a popular travel Youtube channel in Russian, but since the invasion of Ukraine, he produces an English language Youtube Channel called Anton Somewhere. The channel features exceptionally high-quality videos documenting his country in war: suffering and coping in everyday life, heroism and managing infrastructure in war, and the growth of functionality in wartime. In this interview, he describes how he does his work and the exceptional subjects he has covered, ranging from the railway system to life in Kyiv, to one of Ukraine’s national heroes, who happens to be a bomb-sniffing dog.
Anne Levine, US media contact for Kraina FM in Ukraine, a 22 city radio network, provides VOICES FROM UKRAINE: a series of cutting edge interviews with key people in Ukraine, arranged by Kraina FM.
