WPVM is an independent community radio station in downtown Asheville, NC. We are a not-for-profit enterprise committed to our listeners to provide news, sports, information, and entertainment that enriches their lives. We are progressive, fair, and balanced in news, politics, and the topics that all Asheville residents deal with daily.
We promise to provide ongoing guidance for each intern through our station management and program hosts. We are here to make this a growing, learning, and resume-building experience for each intern. These are carefully thought out positions designed to provide you with the maximum exposure to media, blogging, social media, radio and video production, website development, and station stewardship.
