Gospel Boogie is a program that presents uptempo gospel music from the golden age of gospel, 1945-1965. This wonderful American musical form is presented simply for musical enjoyment, in much the same way one would approach any other genre of music. No preaching, no proselytising. The music is drawn from a record collection that has taken over 35 years to gather and the process of looking for more great music is ongoing. Stories about the artists and the hunt for these records are shared along with the music.
