How we survive:  YOU the listener make up our single largest source of income.

The New WPVM is Asheville’s truly independent  hometown radio, which means we create all of our local programming entirely by volunteer show hosts and dj’s. By FCC law we are not allowed any commercial advertisements.  WPVM  receives no financial support other than from our underwriters, fundraisers and donations from our listeners. Our ability to stay on the air is due to financial support of our listeners and we thank you for you financial support and faith in us. In a time when the main stream media is owned by just a few conglomerates, truly independent media is a rare thing. If you enjoy our programming and our effort to bring independent  and thought provoking news and entertainment, please consider making a tax deductible financial contribution. WPVM is truly a labor of love by the Board of Directors and  our volunteers, and we hope you will help us continue this important work.

All online donations are processed through PayPal, a secure payment site. We do not share your information with any other organizations.
