Disclaimer: This radio show was not meant to be any kind of definitive list.

Rockabilly pioneer Bonnie Lou was the oldest at 91, Dave Cloud the youngest at 58. Randy Howard wins the prize for most unusual death: Killed by bounty hunter. Allen Toussaint was the only death while touring, although Randy Howard, Dave Cloud and Lemmy were all still active musically. Other notable deaths I wish I had time to represent: Cilla Black, Ornette Coleman, Ben E. King, Daevid Allen, and Buddy Emmons. 2015 was particularly hard on drummers with the Molly Hatchet, Lynrd Skynrd, Posies, Twisted Sister, CSNY, and Electric Prunes bands all forever wondering who starts the next song.

live for today, Mister Lance
